Lead generation services measured in enquiries

Rankings, traffic, impressions, reach — none of them pay wages. So our lead generation services are built around one number instead: how many real enquiries arrived this month, and what each one cost to get.

What changes

What lead generation services change first

Most businesses don't have a marketing problem so much as a counting problem — work comes in, nobody knows from where, so nobody knows what to do more of. Here's what changes when that gets fixed.

  • Volume

    More of the right enquiries

Not every enquiry is worth having. The aim is more from people who can afford you and want what you actually sell, which usually means being pickier about the searches, not louder on all of them.

  • Source

    You find out what's working

Calls, forms and emails all get traced back to where they started. So when you double a budget, you're doubling something you've watched work, rather than guessing and hoping.

  • Rhythm

    A steadier pipeline

Flat out one quarter and quoting thin air the next is the pattern most owners want gone. So the work aims at the quiet months first, rather than at the months that were already busy.

How it fits together

Lead generation isn't one thing you buy

places enquiries actually come from
3places enquiries actually come from
number the whole job is judged on
1number the whole job is judged on
bought lists, ever
0bought lists, ever

Lead generation services are usually sold as a single product, which is why they so often disappoint. In practice enquiries come from three places: people searching for what you sell right now, people you paid to put an ad in front of, and people who already know you and needed reminding. Each one needs different work and each one arrives at a different speed.

The mistake we see most is buying only the fast one. Ads switch on in a week and stop the day you stop paying, so a business built entirely on them never gets cheaper. Search takes months and then keeps working, so a business built entirely on that has a lean start. Most firms need both, in a deliberate order.

What we don't do is buy lists or send cold email to people who never asked. It annoys the recipient, it puts your domain at risk, and under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act it isn't lawful in New Zealand without consent. Every enquiry we count is from someone who came looking.

What's in the job

What lead generation services actually cover

Fifteen pieces, three lists. Your plan marks which ones you need now, which can wait, and which you shouldn't pay for at all.

Bring the right people in

  • Searches from people ready to buy, agreed in writing
  • Pages built for the problems you get paid to fix
  • Google Ads aimed at the areas you actually serve
  • A Google Business Profile that turns searches into calls
  • Emails that bring past customers back for more

Turn visits into enquiries

  • One clear next step on every page
  • Short forms people actually finish
  • A phone number that's easy to find on a phone
  • Proof on the page where the doubt happens
  • A site fast enough that nobody gives up waiting

Count what arrives

  • Calls, forms and emails all tracked to their source
  • Enquiries counted against what they cost
  • Which searches produce work, and which just produce visits
  • Spend moved monthly to whatever is delivering
  • A monthly report written in plain English

Getting started

How the lead generation work runs, month by month

Four steps, and you'll always know which one the work is up to.

  1. Week 1

    Your free lead generation plan

Fill in the form, then we read your site, check where your enquiries could realistically come from, and write a one-page plan. It lands within one working day, and it's free whatever you decide.

  2. Month 1

    Counting comes before spending

Most sites can't tell you where a single enquiry came from, so that gets fixed first. Then the obvious leaks — a form nobody finishes, a number you can't tap, a page that takes eight seconds — get closed before any new budget goes out.

  3. Month 2

    Both taps, in order

Ads go on for the searches that need work now, and the pages that earn their place over time start going live. From here every report shows enquiries next to what they cost, so the budget can follow the results.

  4. Month 3

    Then it's your call

Three months to start, then month by month — you stay because it's working, not because a contract says so. You deal with the same person throughout, with no account manager in between.

The reviews

Where these reviews actually come from

You wouldn't hire a builder without asking whose work is in the photos. Same standard here: the reviews below were earned by the wider business rather than by the New Zealand company. And we'd rather say that than let you guess.

Straight answers

Lead generation questions we get asked

Eight things owners ask before buying lead generation services, answered without the sales voice.

  • We generate them for you, and they arrive in your inbox and on your phone. We don't run a pool of enquiries and sell the same one to three businesses, which is what some lead generation services actually do. Ask anyone quoting you whether the enquiry is exclusive, because the answer changes what it's worth.

  • No. Buying a list and mailing it annoys people, damages your domain's reputation, and needs consent to be lawful here under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act. Everything we count comes from someone who went looking for what you sell.

  • It depends on what you sell, where, and how contested those searches are. A tradesperson in one town and a national supplier need very different budgets. Any quote should name the searches it's buying, or you're comparing air. You'll get a real figure on the first call.

  • Ads can produce enquiries in the first fortnight, though the early ones cost more while the settings get tightened. Search work usually shows up somewhere between month three and month six and then keeps going. Anyone promising a flood in week one is describing ads and not saying so.

  • A form filled in, a call from the website or Google profile, or an email to the address on the site. Wrong numbers and spam get taken back out rather than left in to flatter the total. You see the same list we do, so you can check any of it.

  • That's a targeting problem and it's fixable, but only if you tell us — so the monthly call asks which enquiries were worth having. Usually the fix is going after narrower searches: fewer people, further along, more likely to buy.

  • Then the problem is probably further down, and the page on turning visits into enquiries is the better read. Adding more visitors to a site that doesn't turn them into enquiries is the most expensive way to fix nothing.

  • You'll see it when we see it, because the report counts enquiries against spend every month and hides nothing. First the budget moves away from whatever is leaking. Then, if the plan itself is wrong, we rewrite the plan. What we won't do is keep billing quietly while the numbers sit flat.

Next step

Find out where your enquiries come from

Most owners can't answer that question, and it's the one that decides where every marketing dollar should go. Send your details and we'll read your site and write a one-page plan — where enquiries could come from, what's stopping them now, and the order we'd tackle it.
